Globalis | Removal of the Optional Travel Insurance Benefit

Just a short post to let everyone know we’ve made the decision to drop the optional travel insurance benefit from the Globalis product for new and renewing Policies from 15 January 2020.

The optional travel insurance cover had offered protection against trip cancellations, lost luggage etc.

We haven’t seen many customers choose the option and we know most of our members are focused on keeping costs down rather than adding on benefits they might not need.

If you’re still keen on purchasing travel insurance, drop us a note, talk to your intermediary, or check out the websites of our insurance partners. They continue to offer full benefit travel insurance plans.
